Habits-not forming

HABITS are those "bits" of our character that are hard to break.
Stop short before your thoughts, words n actions becum habits.Device ur own ways of doing so.
I employ being aware of them and use a hard, heavy hammer to do so.

Dear Dr.Anirudh,

I personally feel that you can mould your habits in case you decide to master them rather than being a slave to them.
However it is very difficult to get rid of bad habits as its human tendency or nature to develop and encourage bad instincts within themselves.
What we need the most is dynamic Will Power to form a good habit and to get rid of the bad ones. It is indeed very important as habits will decide merits and demerits of our life to a large extent.

Parampreetji, thanks for the illumination. The way to getting over the bad habits is to be with them and going to their roots.Understanding the genesis can go a long way.Bad habits are like water which finds an easy path so they are easy to acquire.Acquiring good habits is like an uphill journey, very exhausting and exhaustive but nevertheless enticing and enthralling.Good luck.

dear dr kapoor,
i think the habbits r our self created rules, which we never want to break .every point of life we always find two ways..the wrong one is very easy and right one is tough, according to the human nature i.e choose and use,we catch the easiest way...after a span of time it becomes our habbit, and its tough for our mind to change the path, but its not impossible..i think its just a state of mind.
