DO PRAYERS WORK?

Hello Dears,i am not surprised at the results of the Poll on Prayers.
90 % of the voters said yes,prayers do work wonderfully .That shows the overwhelming faith of the overwhelming majority (though the no.in the poll is too small).
I believe the power of prayer is what keeps us afloat in times that are tough and pressurizing .
They give us optimism and hold our lives in their lap which is soft, warm yet very re-assuring.

Prayers emanate the vibes that affect the environ,sending signals for help and coming back with the answer to benefit us.That's my belief.That's my view.

FLOWERS N THEIR TEACHINGS

The flowers teach us to:
1.Smile at all without awaiting the return-smile.No discrimination.
2.Spread fragrance to all.No discrimination.
3.Be One with Nature.
4.Co-exist with thorns.

6.Remember that they did not exist in the past and would cease to exist in the future.

GOODNESS AND GREATNESS ARE IN-BUILT IN EACH ONE OF US.They come as freebies when we are born.
We just have to remove the dust of negative traits like jealousy,hatred,selfishness etc.etc.etc.etc.gathered over the years for these qualities to shine again.
A CHILD IS PURE,SPONTANEOUS,FORGIVING AND SMILING.As it grows up,these traits just get buried deeper and deeper and it ceases to live with zeal,enthusiasm and happiness.
CANNOT WE DIG INTO THE DEEPER RECESSES OF OUR LIVES AND UNEARTH THE CHILD-LIKE GUSTO AND FRAGRANCE OF LIFE?

Instant Coffee is easy to prepare but does not measure upto the brewed/whipped/espresso one.
So is true with love and belonging.For any relationship to last it has to withstand the whipping of trials and tribulations and then it would be ever-lasting.

Dear friends, i am grateful for having participated in the first poll at my blog.
The vast majority (18/24 ) 75 % believed that man iz inherently a JEALOUS creature.
I will add selfishness to this as we not not believe in the inherent ONENESS and INTERCONNECTEDNESS with one another.Nature makes plants to give us O2 and we give them CO2.Plants and animals are not selfish and jealous there because it would be LIFE-THREATENING to both.
Being jealous and selfish creates a shell around us.It dis-comments and dis-engages us from rest of the inhabitants on the lovely planet.

PEACE OF MIND-MY PREROGATIVE

Y should i keep my peace of mind in the custody of somebody other than my own self.
It is my previlege and pleasure to keep it with my own self and protect it at all cost.No one has any right to intrude into my own personal sacred space.Neither do i into others'.
THIS WILL HAPPEN ONLY WHEN I MINIMISE MY EXPECTATIONS FROM OTHERS AND WEAR A PROTECTIVE ARMOUR OF SELF-RESPECT AND SELF-CONFIDENCE.

Being Judgemental- why not to be!

Let's not be judgemental about any person/event at any point in time (to avoid embarassement later) because we do not know the totality of the Divine plan which will unfold at its own pace when the larger picture will finally emerge.

Big Car-Big parking

If God were to give you a big car,He would first give you a big house with a large parking space.
Nature cares for our needs and places each one of us at an optimum slot which is best suited to it.

Miracles -Faith in the Divine

Boxing and life

After a boxer is knocked down in the ring,the referee gives the boxer on the mat a count of ten to get up and resume the fight.
Life forces too give us time to recoup and bounce back when we are knocked down.Let's muster all our strength to pounce at our troubles and take them by the horns when the going gets tough.
Faith and Prayers can help us in our endeavour. If just not possible,there's always another fight.Train better for the next one.
When a very strong,fuming wind is blowing, bellowing and spewing dust,it is better to turn your back, bow down and let it pass away.No point wrestling with it at that time.It can be lethal.
Wait a while,let it mellow down and then straighten your back,dust yourself and get going.

Game of Golf

Golf without the holes and the handicaps is no golf.
Life without the hardships is no life.Play the game of life, hitting and missing the birdies(as in golf) for the sheer pleasure of playing.

Swimming

U cannot swim with closed fists. Likewise,when u are in deep waters in life ( during times of turmoil) , acceptance of the situation and opening the fists(letting go after trying your very best) and moving on, may do the trick.
